2008 Alumni Awards
Southern Wesleyan University recognized its outstanding alumni May 10 at the university’s campus in Central.
Above, pictured, from left, are Emily DeRoberts (’99, ’02) of Easley, who received the Professional Excellence Award from the School of Business; Dr. Stan Rampey (’ 71) of Seneca, who received the Professional Excellence Award from the College of Arts and Sciences; Anne Sheriff (’63) of Central, who received the Professional Excellence Award from the School of Education; David Holbrook (’91) and Lisa Holbrook (’90) of Kernersville, N.C., both of whom were given the Outstanding Young Leader Award; April Grant (’02) of Six Mile, who was inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame; and Janet Carriker Green (’63), who was named Outstanding Alumnus of the Year.
