Learning social media

    SWU’s North Augusta learning center hosted a presentation May 20 by Alan Jones with Alive Media, Social Media and How it Affects Your Business, part of the Business Academy Series, presented with the North Augusta Chamber.

    Southern Wesleyan is partnering with SCORE and the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce to offer the chamber’s Business Academy Series from 8:30 until 11 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the university’s learning center, located at 802 E. Martintown Rd., Suite 101 in North Augusta.

    SCORE is composed of volunteer business people helping those in small businesses. The volunteers give freely of their time, energy and knowledge to help others. SCORE volunteers donate over 1 million hours of their time each year to support their communities.
