Smith takes 1st, Warriors 2nd at Emmanuel Invitational
SWU's Cyndi Smith claimed the first tournament of the season after shooting an 88 in round two to distance her from the two players who tied with her in round one.
Smith followed her 83 from round one with an 88 in round two as Emmanuel's Brittney Harkins and Samantha Metzger both shot 90 on Tuesday. Those three were tied for first after round one. Smith's 88 was only 7th best on the day but was able to hold on to the lead. Read more in SWU Athletics.
