Southern Wesleyan names Peters new VP for Enrollment Management

Southern Wesleyan University has named Chad Peters the new vice president for enrollment management.

Peters is currently the associate vice president for enrollment management at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he has led efforts to increase enrollment in various degree programs and streamlined communications efforts with prospective students with enhancements that included the establishment of an internal call center. He also assisted in development of a marketing/enrollment team at Columbus, Ohio.

Peters is no stranger to Southern Wesleyan, where served as director of admissions from 2003-2008, and earlier as assistant director of admissions, an admissions counselor, assistant to the vice president for enrollment management and coach of the Warriors men’s and women’s cross country teams.

Dr. Todd Voss, Southern Wesleyan University president, is enthusiastic about Peters’ return to Southern Wesleyan.

“Chad’s love of SWU, and his understanding of this campus, will allow him to step into leadership quickly and provide incredible support and clarification.  He is a person of utmost integrity, quiet strength, amazing drive and deep conviction,” Voss said.

Peters received a bachelor of science in business administration and economics from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master of science in management from Southern Wesleyan.

Peters will assume his new post July 1.
