Southern Wesleyan University dedicates new welcome center
Southern Wesleyan University dedicated its new Clayton Welcome Center Oct. 23 at its campus in Central.
Community leaders joined SWU trustees, administration, faculty and staff for a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an open house for the new facility, located just inside the entrance to the university on Clayton Drive near S.C. Highway 93. Pictured cutting the ribbon are Southern Wesleyan University president Dr. David Spittal, far right, members of the Clayton family, SWU representatives and community leaders. The Clayton Welcome Center houses the university's admissions department and is the first stop for visitors and prospective students coming to Southern Wesleyan.
