The boys of summer
Hamilton Hartsell of the Warriors works with a youngster on effectively fielding the ball during a camp devoted to baseball fundamentals for ages 5-12 at Connor Field on SWU's Central campus.
Hartsell, who comes from Central, is a pitcher for the SWU Baseball Team. Southern Wesleyan will host another fundamentals camp for ages 5-12 June 23-26. Additional camps include a hitting camp June 16-17 for ages 5-9 and June 18-19 for ages 10-14. The camp staff is led by Mike Gillespie, SWU baseball coach.
