Walmart training at North Augusta
SWU's North Augusta learning center recently held training for regional department managers at Walmart stores in the area, including some Georgia stores. The training took place on July 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29.
On Aug. 23 and 29, more than a hundred Walmart employees filled the learning center’s large classroom for a big meeting before going into different classrooms for breakout sessions. According to Jason Norton, North Augusta regional director, SWU staff spoke to the Walmart group about programs SWU offers. Walmart offers tuition assistance to their associates and dependents.
