Author, speaker and blogger Jeff Goins challenged Southern Wesleyan University students to consider going to places that are out of their comfort zone to experience personal growth.
Goins, who spoke Nov. 5 at the university’s missions conference, has traveled extensively, spending a year touring all over North America and Taiwan with a band. He now lives in Nashville with his family and works for Adventures in Missions, an international nonprofit organization. He is author of the book Wrecked: When a Broken World Slams into your Comfortable Life, which tells the stories of people whose lives have been turned upside-down in the best way possible — and what they decided to do afterwards.
