Partnering to meet the needs of educators

The Attain Program at Southern Wesleyan University is designed around meeting the continuing education needs of teachers by partnering with school districts.

Paths in the Attain Program

Master of Education in Classroom Leadership (MEDCL)

SWU will offer the 10 core courses of the Master of Education in Classroom Leadership (MEDCL) to cohorts of no less than 10 and no more than 24 certified teachers employed by the district. Courses will generally be seven weeks in length. The seven sessions of each course will be delivered online. Courses will be delivered one at a time over the entire calendar year. Students in a given cohort must all begin in the first course together and proceed sequentially.

Current full tuition: $1,375 per course (includes tuition, fees, e-textbooks, and learning management system)

10-14 students $138 scholarship per student per course
15-19 students $206 scholarship per student per course
20-24 students $275 scholarship per student per course

 

Graduate Content Area Coursework

SWU will offer the specified Graduate Content Area courses to cohorts of no less than 10 and no more than 24 certified teachers employed by the district. Courses will generally be seven weeks in length. The seven sessions of each course will be delivered online.

Content area electives are available in Literacy, Learning Disabilities, Gifted and Talented, and Early Childhood Special Education.

Current full tuition: $1,000 per course (includes tuition, fees, e-textbooks, and learning management system)
