| PROFILE: | “I came to South Carolina from many years in Maine in both private business and education and I was expecting to be essentially retired from teaching. As a part-time faculty member at several area institutions, including SWU, I was starting to get into the retirement mode: golf, fishing, volunteer activities, etc. In the spring of 2013, though, I met with Dr. Trudel about the business program and eventually came to believe that I should come back to work full-time for the university as an accounting teacher. The experience has been an important reminder to me that God's plans for us may not always coincide with what we are seeking, but His direction is always the right one for us.”
