TITLE:Professor of Business
DEPARTMENT:School of Business

PROFILE:

“The Lord Jesus Christ has blessed me tremendously in this life. I came to a personal knowledge of Him when I was 29 years old, and this experience was due to a hunger to know the purpose of life. When I accepted Jesus, I discovered that He fills the hungry with good things and satisfies the longing in our souls. He has done that for me.

I have been married to Janet, the most wonderful helpmate ever created, and we have been blessed with four beautiful children who are all married with two children each.

After graduate school, I joined the United States Navy as a Naval Supply Corps officer during the Vietnam War. After four years in the Navy, I became an FBI agent and worked with white collar crime in South Florida. I left the Bureau after 12 years to become a pastor, and with the help of my wife, I planted three churches in North Carolina and Alabama. My love of teaching led me to Southern Wesleyan University, where I have been a professor in the AGS School of Business for almost 13 years.

God is good!”
