| PROFILE: | Before coming to SWU, Dr. McLendon worked in various aspects of the educational field as an interim athletic director, a high school English teacher, a media specialist, a technology specialist, a vice president for institutional operations and a curriculum specialist for the South Carolina Department of Education. McLendon includes among her varied experiences that she even worked as a piano key builder. McLendon enjoys tennis and golf and is a voracious reader. She loves all types of technology and would love to live in a “smart home” with all types of gadgets.
